McClellan Park broke ground mid October 2009 on a new redevelopment project for the Park's Peacekeeper Way entrance. The redevelopment improvements include a steel superstructure spanning Peacekeeper Way, new monumentation, signage and landscaping. In addition, McClellan Park has begun planning for further infrastructure and aesthetic improvements and amenities to enhance the primary entrance to McClellan's historic Peacekeeper district. A unique mix of retail tenants and additional signage will flank the corner of Watt Ave and Peacekeeper Way, ultimately creating a more appealing and welcoming entrance.
