McClellan Park Opens Brand New Coffee Shop- Coffee Hangar

McClellan, CA – On Wednesday, March 11, 2015 Coffee Hangar opened for business on the south east side of McClellan Conference Center located at 5411 Luce Avenue.  A grand opening party is set to take place Monday March 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.   Coffee Hangar is a brand new amenity at McClellan Park, and will serve coffee from Temple Coffee.  Temple Coffee is a quality-focused retail and wholesale roaster based in Sacramento, California.   Coffee Hangar will also serve grab and go breakfast and lunch items, as well as beer and wine. Coffee Hangar will be open 6am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and on Sunday’s at group request only.

Coffee Hangar is open to the public and will serve guests and patrons congregating at McClellan Conference Center.   The approximate 2000 sf space includes a covered patio seating area near the front entrance, as well as communal seating inside.   “Our Coffee Hangar offers a wonderful addition to the food and beverage services offered within McClellan Business Park.”, said Jeroen Gerrese, Asset Manager.  “We look forward to serving the 250 plus tenants as well as more than 15,000 people that work at McClellan Park.”  Customers will enjoy free WiFi,  televisions, excellent indoor and outdoor patio seating, and a community bulletin board to post and read various local announcements. Coffee Hangar features large communal seating for customers to enjoy, as well as a dining bar, and banquette area inside and expansive shaded outdoor patio.  The cozy urban interior holds a capacity of 82 patrons. 

In 2013 McClellan Business Park and Lions Gate Hotel renovated the McClellan Conference Center to serve as a first class conference facility, with meeting space for more than three thousand attendees, and a selection of breakout rooms for smaller groups.  Coffee Hangar will serve as a convenient quality food venue for those attendees.

Coffee Hangar architecture and interior design was led by Borges Architecture Group.  The general contractor for the project was Frontline Builders General Contracting Inc., sub-contractors included Schetter Electric Inc., Engineer Mechanical Corporate Inc. (EMCI), LG Ellis Plumbing, and Rucker Mill and Cabinet Work who oversaw the cabinetry.
