SMUD provides electrical service to McClellan Park. This municipal utility has distinguished itself over the years for prudent management and the maintenance of below-average rates for users. Through the use of the LAMBRA (Local Agency Military Base Recovery Area) Program, McClellan Park tenants are able to be billed at specially reduced SMUD rates, creating extra business savings.

McClellan Park has the added advantage of three dedicated electrical sub-stations. Combined, these private facilities can provide over 210 megawatts of power to McClellan Park tenants, mitigating possible downtime from local and regional outages. This in-house power generating capability is available in addition to Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) eligibility.
