McClellan Hospitality Announces New Branding Strategy For McClellan Conference Center, Lions Gate Hotel, and Event Center

McClellan Ca (February 1, 2016) – McClellan Hospitality is pleased to announce the new organization of McClellan Conference Center, Lions Gate Hotel, and Event Center businesses.  The McClellan Conference Center will operate independently from Lions Gate Hotel, while still offering the unique customizable space.

Last month, McClellan Conference Center launched its new brand as part of its vision to provide the most customizable conference experience in the region, providing even greater flexibility for its clients.  This includes offering the unique opportunity to partner with McClellan Hospitality Catering Service, and the ability to connect with a range of hotel partners, including Lions Gate Hotel. Lions Gate Hotel will now operate as a limited-service hotel. O’Club Restaurant Catering and Events will still offer full service restaurant and farm to fork menu, catering and banquet services, and special event venue.

McClellan Conference Center will now recommend a range of hotel partners to find the experience that best fits each client’s needs.  Furthermore, McClellan Conference Center will still offer the unique opportunity to partner with O’Club Restaurant Catering and Events as well as other regional and catering services.

“McClellan Conference Center admittedly was never really branded as its own entity evidenced through the Lions Gate insignia. While the co-branding worked for the purpose of launching the conference center, it is not a brand that specifically works for the conference center or positions it to compete with other large conference and convention spaces”.  Said Larry Kelley, President of McClellan Park.  “We believe this new structure better positions the conference center to grow and prosper”.

To celebrate the rebranding, McClellan Conference Center will have a re-grand opening event on February 29, 2016. Visitors will be able to tour the 70,000 sq. ft. conference space which includes the expansive general session hall, hangar, and conference rooms of various sizes.  Event goers will also be informed of all the amenities McClellan Conference Center has to offer. Amenities include, complimentary parking for all events including tradeshows, conferences, galas, concerts, fundraisers and more. Additionally, Coffee Hangar the on-site café that serves beer, wine, breakfast and lunch items, as well as award winning Temple coffee.

“Both McClellan Conference Center and Lions Gate Hotel are excited about this opportunity to build new partnerships with hotels and cities throughout the region, and to provide excellent service for those visiting and attending events in Sacramento.” Said Jeroen Gerresse, Asset Manager of McClellan Hospitality
