McClellan Park has acquired the airfield portion of the former McClellan Air Force Base. As part of the transfer, the former McClellan Airfield was renamed Sacramento McClellan Airport, and will operate as a privately owned airport available for public use.
Renovations are underway at the site of a planned solar module factory at McClellan Business Park that’s expected to bring more than 200 jobs to the region.
