McClellan, Calif. (February 17, 2016) – McClellan Hospitality is pleased to announce the new organization of McClellan Conference Center, Lions Gate Hotel, The O’Club Restaurant Catering and Events businesses. McClellan Conference Center is now fully independent from Lions Gate Hotel. The Conference Center provides event space for both large and small groups and is now available to handle events for all hotels in the region.
Last month, McClellan Conference Center launched its new brand as part of its vision to provide the most customizable conference experience in the region, providing even greater flexibility for its clients. This includes offering the unique opportunity to sponsor an event with any caterer of choice or partner with The O’Club Restaurant and Catering for excellent quality catering and convenience. The McClellan Conference Center provides the ability to connect with a wide range of event sponsors, and is available for events booked by hotel partners, caterers or other groups.
Lions Gate Hotel will now operate as a limited-service hotel, continuing to offer the best overall value for travelers in the area, particularly to business travelers to McClellan Park.
The O’Club Restaurant Catering and Events provides a full-service restaurant, which includes their farm to fork menu, catering and banquet services. The restaurant also has excellent special event venues and will work in tandem with the McClellan Conference center to provide facilities for all sizes of events.
McClellan Conference Center will now recommend a range of hotel partners to find the experience that best fits each client’s need. Additionally, McClellan Conference Center will continue to offer the unique opportunity to partner with The O’Club Restaurant Catering and Events as well as other regional catering services.
“McClellan Conference Center was never really branded as its own entity as evidenced through the Lions Gate insignia. While the co-branding worked for the purpose of launching the conference center, we believe the conference center should now be positioned to compete with other large conference and convention spaces to bring more quality events to the Sacramento region”. Said Larry Kelley, President of McClellan Park. “We believe this new structure better positions the conference center to grow and prosper”.
To celebrate the rebranding, McClellan Conference Center will have a grand opening event on February 29, 2016. Visitors will be able to tour the 70,000 sq. ft. conference space which includes the expansive general session hall, and conference rooms of various sizes. Event goers will also be informed of all the amenities McClellan Conference Center has to offer. Amenities include complimentary parking for all events including tradeshows, conferences, galas, concerts, fundraisers and more. Another notable amenity is Coffee Hangar, the on-site café that serves beer, wine, breakfast/lunch items, as well as award winning Temple coffee.
“Both McClellan Conference Center and Lions Gate Hotel are excited about this opportunity to build new partnerships with hotels and other hospitality industry customers throughout the region, and to provide excellent service for those visiting and attending events in Sacramento.” Said Jeroen Gerrese, Asset Manager of McClellan Hospitality.
