McClellan Park has acquired the airfield portion of the former McClellan Air Force Base. As part of the transfer, the former McClellan Airfield was renamed Sacramento McClellan Airport, and will operate as a privately owned airport available for public use.

The McClellan CARE Holiday Food Basket Program is an annual event which began in 2003. Since its inception we have raised over $267,690 and provided food baskets to more than 2,668 local families living at or below poverty level. The children and families we serve attend five elementary schools within close proximity to McClellan Park and The Aerospace Museum of California.
