The Sacramento Region is acquiring over 313,000 square feet of new industrial space, thanks to McClellan Business Park’s latest development, McClellan Logistics Center II. A key development of the master-planned campus, the facility marks the second new warehouse project to be built in McClellan Park.
The project – now nearing completion – will include a total of two spacious warehouse buildings. Situated on the I-80/Winters Street interchange, bounded by Dudley Boulevard and McClellan Park Drive, Building A will include 172,212 square feet and Building C will encompass 140,895 square feet. With no shortage of flexible space, the project will serve as another hub for many of the region’s leading manufacturers and distributors.
McClellan Logistics Center II will include an array of thoughtfully-planned key features: Rear dock loading with 130 truck courts, 9 foot by 10 foot dock doors, clear height ranging from 36 feet to 36 feet, 50 foot by 54 foot column spacing, and ESFR sprinklers. The site will also have more than four acres of designated truck terminal parking, in addition to ample auto and truck parking.
Lucky for tenants, McClellan Park’s vast list of onsite amenities will also be available for use, including hotel lodging and dining, residential housing, 24/7/365 onsite security, Union Pacific/BNSF rail service and the Sacramento McClellan Airport, the nation’s largest privately-owned, public use airport. Not to mention, the thriving business park brings in 15,000 daily visitors and is currently home to 230 tenants of varying industries.
As of May 2022, Building A is nearing shell completion and ready for tenant improvements, and construction teams have tilted the walls of Building C.
